Owner and head technician Jonathan has been around the bike industry for over 25 years. First as a kid using his BMX to get to his friends' house, then as a pro cross-country and downhill mountain biking racer. Jon was always mechanically inclined and did his own maintenance, as well as worked for various shop or as team mechanic for races. As a bike mechanic, he has been described as the bike whisperer - he can make your bicycle feel like new again. Jon's favorite ride is currently his Kona Operator, a sweet stealth black machine he can push hard on the Fortune and Bromont DH trails.
Tifenn got into biking a bit later in life, but dabbled into several disciplines - triathlon, XC, cyclocross - before settling on her favorite, downhill racing. She spent a few years racing the Ontario and Quebec cup circuits, but now her favorite ride is her custom-built grocery store bike, the perfect bike to pull a chariot to take baby grocery shopping, or for a quick ride to the Chelsea ice cream shop. Tifenn's work at Mobivelo is mostly behind the scene - website and management - but you might see her around at events.
Etienne grew up riding his mountain bike in and around Chelsea. His first job was in a local bike shop and even thought that was over 20 years ago, he’s still fully passionate about everything with two wheels and a chain. He has worked for shops and after college, moved to Montreal to work for distributors and then came back to work as a sales rep so he knows a thing or two about the industry. Nowadays, when he’s not running or wrenching, he’s teaching bike mechanics at the Wakefield Community Centre. Etienne can’t wait for his 2 boys to start riding! 2016 will be his second season with Mobivélo - you'll see Etienne doing his magic at events throughout the summer!
